    How did I not get it? It’s not that I “didn’t get it”, it’s that it provided me no humor.

    And yes, I’m a large barrel full of laughs. I am someone that gets invited to parties for my cunning wit and sharp sense of humoUr. I’m sure people reading this will indeed agree.

    However, I will give you the hypocrite correction. I was looking for a word and made the mistake of using that.

    Still, because someone is American doesn’t mean they are incapable of understanding sarcasm.

    @k1skaaa By the way, you sound like a barrel of laughs, someone, I’m sure that gets invited to loads of parties for your cunning wit and sharp sense of humour. I’m sure people reading this will agree.

    @k1skaaa Hypocrite – a person who acts in contradiction to his or her stated beliefs or feelings. I think you used the wrong word…but anyway, you are saying intelligence has something to do with different humour types, it doesn’t the Germanic humour is totally different as is Russian. Not every American doesn’t get Irony or Sarcasm granted, however you are American, and you didn’t get it. It is a stereotype, one that a large portion of you live up to. We don’t all drink tea here, just most do

  18. by k1skaaa, on February 9 2010 @ 4:39 am

    Saying Americans are unable to understand humor or irony is identical to saying fire is cold. Not every American is a retarded McDonald masher.

    Everywhere in the world, including the not-without-fault UK, has people that honestly wouldn’t find what you said to be funny.

    Anyway, you’re a hypocrite for saying “Only an American wouldn’t get that!” because region doesn’t impact intelligence as much as you’d like to believe. I’m pretty sure some of your mates aren’t very comprehensible either

  19. by m1leswilliams, on February 9 2010 @ 4:50 am

    @k1skaaa Hypocrite ?! I don’t think you know what that means or I’m missing something… And look at the 3 thumbs up I have for the American comment…. I’m not the only one that knows Americans don’t get subtle humour / Irony / sarcasm etc.

    If this “shield” is as good as they say, it would be used on windscreens, glasses, skis, car paint, tv screens, monitors watches, DVDs, CDs etc etc etc.

  21. by k1skaaa, on February 9 2010 @ 5:42 am

    “Only an American..” Hypocrite.

  22. by m1leswilliams, on February 9 2010 @ 6:36 am

    @k1skaaa Why ?

  23. by k1skaaa, on February 9 2010 @ 7:33 am
