It looks just ugly there’s now so many cases for the iPhone 4 its ridiculous, I myself I’m not a fan of the iPhone 4′s new design, I wish they just made it different hopefully they will change it next year release, also the small same screen is also well small, when I saw the The Galaxy S in my hand from Tmobile I wad in love, if only that was the iPhone 5 but ofcoarse alot thinner, I just wish Jobs incorporated a much needed real qwerty board then u don’t have to call it the iPhone 5 just the

How is the protection on this case in comparison to the element cases for the 3GS?
by welltester10, on September 2 2010 @ 12:18 pm
If you want to use your gps don’t get the case. Major screw up guys

i heard that ur signal goes down wen u put on the case is that true????

I was going to buy this case but now I am not. For 80 dollars I expect more. All of the cut outs for this case are stupid. The SIM card cut out is not necessary, the audio jack cut out is way too long and the cut out for the volume buttons looks out of place. They should have gone with the sleep/wake button design and given it chrome buttons of its own. What a disappointment :\

@larrygreenberg Are you using a anti-glare screen protector, and if so from which company?
by weedy984, on September 2 2010 @ 3:45 pm
$80 for a fucking case? Yeah right. That’s ridiculous.
by larrygreenberg, on September 2 2010 @ 4:21 pm
@mah4283 there isn’t much lay on the table with this case.
by mah4283, on September 2 2010 @ 5:14 pm
ok this looks awesome but my only concern is the possibility of dropping it screen down, possibly cracking the screen. does the vapor case have enough of a raised edge to prevent that? i searched high and low for pics of an iphone in a vapor case. and ur video is pretty good but i can’t really tell if its raised enough or not.
by rolledup20s, on September 2 2010 @ 5:59 pm
I wanted one of these, however
After seeing this video – I don’t.
The iPhone doesn’t look like it fits correctly around the top.
Ive tried a few different types of cases including apple bumper -
Ive ended up with just a screen protecter and a leather pouch to keep it from scratches in my pocket and just lying around.
I prefer the iphone4 exactly as it came
And no signal issues
Thanks for the video though

Larry, excellent review as always. Just a comment about dock connector accessibility on the iPhone 4 with various cases. My Belkin car charger does not work with with the Apple bumper – it never makes good contact. It also does not work with my iSkin Solo case (just received that on Friday), but then again, the Apple dock connector also doesn’t work with the iSkin either! Guess the problem is more wide-spread than just the Vapor case? Great work again…

@whiterhinotech there are three of us from Gear Diary using it and we plan on full review next week.

Hey Larry. I’m sure quite busy just getting back from you trip but I was wondering if you plan on doing a follow up video about your experiences with the Vapor 4 and If you will continue to use it. I’m not sure if the bars mean anything any more. I can loose 3 bars walking into my kitchen.
by larrygreenberg, on September 2 2010 @ 11:09 pm
@mklein345 Pretty much finding a consistent loss. 4-5 bars drops down to 2-3.
by mklein345, on September 2 2010 @ 11:36 pm
Any updates on the reception issues? Thanks.
by DayLight95, on September 2 2010 @ 11:43 pm
the reason they put a sin slot is cause what if ur on holiday and don’t have an alan wrench? and need to change to one of those pay as you go roaming sims. that’s why they have it i think
by welltester10, on September 3 2010 @ 12:12 am
The case screws up my gps reception.
Still checking for problems on wifi and 3G.
