Can you Skype with the new iPod touch 4G?
Posted on 2010 under iPhone Applications | 1 CommentI know you can use Facetime, but I was wondering if you could also Skype with video and audio to a pc or laptop from the iPod touch 4G.
Can I skype (video chat other than facetime) with someone who is on their laptop or computer or is the video chat only available for facetime between other ipod touch and iphone users?

Unfortunately at this time the facetime camera is only for facetime. You can do voice chats and text chats. When Apple CEO Steve Jobs was asked about whether or not the camera would be compatible with 3rd party phones/apps his answer wasn’t a definite no so there is a chance that it will be available in the future.
